JIPMER RESULT

Every year Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) conducts its own entrance test in order to fill 150 seats of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) courses offered in the institute. JIPMER is considered to be one of the most prestigious and reputed Medical Institute and it has been regarded as Institute of National Importance.

The annual procedure for entrance examination for JIPMER is in progress and the last date for making application for JIPMER 2015 was May 04, 2015. The National Level Entrance test will be conducted on June 07, 2015 and the result of the same will be made available after one week i.e. by June 15, 2015.

As the date of examination is approaching applicants are putting their Heart and Soul in their preparations for the entrance test. The next thing that comes into mind after an examination is its result, so let us help you with some information related to the JIPMER Result:


• Date of Result Declaration:
As per the examination schedule announced by the Institution, the result of the examination is expected to be declared on June 15, 2015 i.e. after one week of the examination.
• Availability of Result: The result of the examination will be available on the official website of the institution. No offline communication will be done with the candidates in regard to the declaration of result.
• Viewing Result: Applicants will be able to see their result after signing in to their account registered at the time of applying for the examination. Individual score cards will be made available to the students which can be viewed after signing into their account.
• Score Card: The score card will have the following information:

  • Rank
  • Roll Number
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Individual marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
  • Total Score of the Candidate
• Qualifying marks: The institute has set a minimum criteria of marks for admission, those students obtaining marks below the criteria will not be considered for the admission in the institution. The category wise minimum marks are as follow:
  • General, NRI and OCI candidates                                                  :    50 Percentile
  • General Candidates under Physically Handicapped candidates         :    45 Percentile
  • SC/ ST /OBC & Physically handicapped of the same Categories     :    40 Percentile
• Category wise Seat allocation: Out of the total 150 seats available for MBBS courses, some seats are reserved for certain categories. Let us have a look at the category wise seat distribution:
