Faruk Kabir is an actor and film director who is most known for his work in Hindi films. He began his Bollywood career at the young age of 18 as an assistant director for the film Asoka and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. In Faruk’s Khuda Haafiz, Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) and Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi) get married in the Indian city of Lucknow. Because of the financial crisis, Sameer’s software company collapsed, and he was forced to close his office. Nargis lost her job too. After struggling with unemployment for a while, they received a job offer from a foreign employment agency, which convinced them to work in the Middle Eastern nation. Nargis departed for Noman before her husband. Upon landing in Noman she goes out of reach. Soon after, Sameer receives a panicked call from his wife from an unidentified number. He figures she’s in trouble and leaves for Noman to get his wife back.

Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2: Agni Pariksha is the sequel to Jammwal’s 2020 film, Khuda Haafiz. Under the umbrella of Panorama Studios, the movie is written and directed by Faruk, and it is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh, and Ram Mirchandani. Khuda Haafiz – 2, tells the heartbreaking story of a couple whose daughter is abducted. The couple is robbed of their happiness which forces Sameer to turn against everyone responsible for the misfortune. On September 2, 2022, Khuda Haafiz 2 will make its platform premiere on ZEE5 Global.

The Awakening is a 2006 Bollywood documentary short film that was directed by Faruk Kabir and produced by Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat Pathak. In the movie, Ajay Devgn interacts with a young child who lost both his parents in the Mumbai floods on July 26, 2005. Then Ajay Devgan recalls his own unpleasant incident from that day.

In Mumbai Underworld, two 12-year-old boys named Vijay and Yakub are depicted as they experience life in an Indian slum.
