WBJEE is a common entrance exam for admission to Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-financed Institutes of West Bengal into UG courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture. The Entrance test will be held on May 17, 2016.
This entrance examination is held yearly for admission to various Universities/Colleges in West Bengal for the candidates who have a domicile of West Bengal. Other states students can appear in this entrance examinationbut are eligible for admission in the Universities of the State. The exm can be taken by eligible candidates who have passed Class 12 level examination or at present studying in class 12.
WBJEE Admit Card 2016 will be available on the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination only to those candidates who are eligible and have filled and submitted their duly filled Online application forms before the due date and it will not be dispatched through Post.
Candidates must take a print out of the online admit card and a copy of that must be presented at the time of examination. It will contain Name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions to the candidates.It is not only important document to show at the time of examination but also during the time of Counselling Process as well. The candidate must carry the same passport size photograph as uploaded during the time of application process.
Guidelines for students for the admit card
- Candidates will not be allowed to take the Entrance Exam if they do not have a valid Admit Card and should be handed over to the examiners for confirmation and authentication.
- Candidates must keep it in proper condition till the admission procedure gets over.
- Candidate must not damageit or modify any entry preparedwithin after it has been verified and checked.
- It is not exchangeable to any other person. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.
- Candidature might also be invalid if the candidates fail to produce any of the required documents in original for fulfillment as specified.
- Candidates must not carry any kind of gadgets such as calculator, mobile phone etc. in the hall of examination.
