Today, the fort complex is a protected heritage, taken care by the Archaeological Survey of India. The complex is most famous for its medieval era monuments, tombs, and citadels. Plus, it is also recognized for the friendly djinns who are believed to reside here for centuries. Every Thursday people gather here and light incense sticks and make wishes. The most significant structures inside the fort complex that are worth visiting are: Jami Masjid, Madarsa, Hawa Mahal,Baoli, Khirki Masjid, etc.
