Ajwa Nimeta Dam – This dam is constructed on the River Vishwamitri and supplies water to the entire city. This dam was built in the 20th century and is around 5 km long. There is also an attractive garden located near the dam, which is known as the Gardens of Ajwa Nimeta. It is quite famous as it is a picnic spot for locals. Nazarbaug Palace – The Nazarbaug Palace is one of the oldest and ancient monuments made in Baroda. It also belonged to the Gaekwad’s. It is also said that there was a horrifying robbery at the palace. This place has a special spot in the history of India.
Sayaji Baug – Constructed on the Vishwamitri River, this 45 hectare garden has two museums and a large aquarium. It is said to be one of the largest gardens in the west India and has about 100 different spices of flowers. The main attraction of this garden is called the floral clock, which is basically a clock but of flowers. The clock does show correct timings!
