5 Tips To Take Care Of Your Parrot!

Dogs and cats might be the most popular pet animals, but a lot of people love having pet birds too. Parrots top the list when it comes to pet birds! They can talk to you, you can teach them how to speak, you can play with them and so much more. If this is your first time with a bird, then you need to follow these 5 tips …

1.       Finding a right place – Mostly the birds’ stay in the cage, but it shouldn’t be the case that you place the cage on your terrace or in your window and make your pet feel left out. You can have a hanging cage in your living room, bedroom or elsewhere. You can find an incredible bird house in pet shops in Chandigarh easily. If you don’t want the bird to be restricted in a cage, then place it in a bird house.

2.       Food – You need to buy food from the pet shop for them. If you have a parrot, then they love Guavas and some of them love chillies too. Don’t make your own predictions as to what your parrot should eat. Get them something they will like and talk to a vet about what you can feed them at home.

3.       Cleaning – Cleaning the cage is a must. You need to clean their cage or bird house every day. It will naturally get dirty every day as the parrot will be pooping inside the cage itself. Don’t ever let your bird live in a dirty cage; make sure you clean it properly every day.

4.       Play with them – Animals need attention as much as humans do. Talk to your parrot, play with it, let it out of the cage and train it so that he/she doesn’t fly away. A lot of parrots play with dogs, cats and various other animals too. If you have a dog and a parrot, then they will have a gala time playing together. So don’t just leave the parrot in the cage all day.

5.       Check-ups – If you see that the parrot is not looking too well, then call a doctor to get it checked. Animals don’t throw tantrums when unwell and since they cannot speak, we have to understand if something is wrong with them. Don’t neglect your beautiful bird.

If you love animals, then it is your duty to give them unconditional love and care.
