Education System of USA
- Primary School: At the age of 6 Students start primary or elementary school. After studying for 5-6 years the next stage is Secondary School.
- Secondary School: Secondary school offers 2 programs namely Junior High School and High School. Students. Candidates are awarded a diploma or certificate after graduating from High School.
- Higher Education: The higher education system of USA is divided into 3 levels
- Undergraduate: Duration is 4 year. Candidates either seek admission in either of the three namely University College or a community college.
- Master’s Degree: Duration is 1-2 years. On successful completion the candidates are awarded Master’s degree in their selected major subject.
- Doctorate Degree: Duration is 3 to 4 years for native citizens of USA while for foreign students it is 3 to 6 years.
