All India Pre Medical Test 2016 is the most awaited and competitive examination for Indian students who want to go for MBBS and BDS courses from top medical colleges. The reason for AIPMT’s popularity is its wide acceptance and the fact that it offers admission in colleges located all over India. Even states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir, which does not participate in AIPMT admission process but accept its score for admission in their colleges.
For the academic session 2016-7 the notification has been released, as per the notification the exam will be conducted on May 01, 2016 and the online application process will begin in the third week of December 2015. Let us start with the application process of All India Pre-Medical Test:
Application Process: Only online applications will be accepted for AIPMT as there is no offline mode of applications. The steps involved in completing the application process are:
Registration: The candidates are required to register using their email id before starting the application process.
Filling the application form: Once the registration has been done, candidates are good to go with their application process. They are required to fill in their personal as well as academic information in the application form.
Documents required: In order to complete the application process, candidates are required to upload their passport size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression. The details of the specification are:
- All the documents need to be in JPEG format with size maximum 20 kb.
- For the Photograph the Background needs to bewhite and the name of the candidate needs to be mentioned on the photograph.
Submission: For the candidates making online application there is no need to submit any documents to complete the application process. For candidates who made offline payment, they are suggested to keep the confirmation page of application form and proof of payment safe with them.
AIPMT Answer Keys: After the AIPMT 2016 exam, CBSE will release official answer keys. In case students find any discrepancy in the answer keys, they can challenge them within a given time period.
Result: The result of AIPMT 2016 examination is expected to be declared in the month of June/July 2016 on the official website of All India Pre Medical Test. Students can use their registration/roll number to get their result.
Counselling: CBSE is responsible for conducting AIPMT 2016 examination and declaring its result.Once the result has been declared, AIPMT merit lists are handed over to Directorate General of Health Services of participating states to proceed with counselling and admission process.
