Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts IPU CET for admission to various undergraduate & post graduate courses. IPU CET is the common entrance test conducted by the University or on the merit of the qualifying degrees. The University is graded A by NAAC. It offers admission to courses like B.Tech, BioTech, M.B.B.S, B.D.S, BBA, B.Com, BCA, Hotel Management, Mass communication and Journalism, Law etc.
The main of GGSIPU is at Dwarka, New Delhi. The Application form of IPU CET 2016 can only be filled online and the Application fees is Rs 1000 which needs to be paid online only. It is a pen paper based exam.
IPU Application Process: Candidates need to fill the Application form online and also make the payment of Rs 1000 online. Candidates must select the exam category that is “Engineering/ Professional/Medical programmes” in the application form before filling it.
It will be available to download 7 days before the commencement of the entrance examination. The exam dates for all the courses are different so the IPU admit card dates will be available 7 days before the dates of the examination. It will be available in the official website and the candidates needs to enter their registration number to download it. The hall ticket is necessary for the candidates appearing in the examination because they cannot enter the examination hall without that.

Candidates needs to bring two copies of the admit card on the day of the examination. They need to affix a passport sized photograph on it, one copy should be retained by the candidate after getting it signed by the Invigilator. Another copy should be handed over to the Invigilator for University records.
The downloaded admit card also contains the photograph of the candidates which they have been uploaded on the application form. If the photograph is not printed or is not clear by any chance, the candidates need to carry a Photo ID proof along with them on the day of the examination.
It will not be dispatched through Post. The hall ticket is very much important for the candidates not only on the day of the examination but also during the process of counselling as well so the candidates must keep is safely for future use once they download it. The Admit Card will contain the name, photograph, signature; the address of the test centre allotted and test date & time and all other relevant details.
Non-receipt of the Hall Ticket
In case, the candidate does not receive it they may contact the Office of Controller of Examinations (Operations) given below at least 3 days before the scheduled commencement of respective CET.
